Thought I would write a little bit about myself and my background in the beauty industry...
I started off working in a Beauty salon whenever I was 15 on work experience and that's were I caught the bug of loving everything from beauty products to make up. I then went on and did my training as a beauty therapist and worked in various salons, I very quickly came to realise that it wasn't the job for me! As much as I loved beauty products, waxing a dozen people a day just wasn't my cup of tea!
I had always been keen on make up and loved trying out new colours, products and ideas. I jumped at the chance to work for an Urban Decay counter and from then on went and studied Media and theatrical make up at a local college. From then on my love for make up grew more into an obsession! I went on and studied more in depth courses that specialised in make up for TV and Film. I have been fortunate enough from then on working with companies whilst they have been filming over in Northern Ireland that are based here. I also would work freelance doing make ups for weddings and formals etc.
The more I work in the industry the more I love it! I am very lucky to have a job that I love and I use it as an excuse to feed my unhealthy obsession of buying make up!
